Consent stays in the caller’s hands.
This page documents Ringwisp’s production missed-call voice and DTMF path for optional SMS follow-up. It is evidence of the flow—not a second way to opt in.
No customer values are displayed here. The page describes what production records after an affirmative choice.
The exact voice disclosure
“Sorry we missed your call. If you would like to receive a text message about your service request, press 1. Message and data rates may apply. SMS consent is optional and is not required to receive service.”
The prompt is followed by a one-digit choice. Pressing 1 is the only affirmative voice consent signal.
Production flow
One prompt. One explicit yes.
The missed-call path separates hearing the disclosure from giving consent. A caller can continue seeking service either way.
- 01
Trigger
The call is unanswered
The caller reaches a Ringwisp-enabled number, but the call is not answered.
- 02
Disclosure
The caller hears the prompt
The voice prompt explains the optional SMS follow-up and asks for one clear choice.
Caller’s choice
The result follows the keypad choice.
Press 1
The explicit, optional consent is recorded and the configured service-request follow-up SMS may proceed.
Other input, no input, or decline
No consent is recorded and no SMS is sent through this voice path.
Optional means optional
Service does not depend on SMS.
Declining SMS does not prevent leaving voicemail, making another call, submitting a service inquiry, or receiving service. The caller can continue with the service request without texting.
For messages that are sent after valid consent, message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help.
Consent record
A reviewable record, without exposing the record.
When the caller presses 1 and the production request is eligible, Ringwisp retains the evidence needed to connect that choice to the right service request and workspace.
- Phone number
- The number associated with the caller’s consent event.
- Timestamp
- When the consent event occurred.
- Workspace association
- Which Ringwisp workspace the missed-call request belongs to.
- Consent source
- Identified to reviewers as voice/DTMF and stored by production as
voice-dtmf. - Disclosure version and snapshot
- The disclosure version and the exact prompt text in effect when consent was recorded.
